I successfully installed Age of Empires 2 DE but only after re-installing the latest Windows 10 image (keeping my existing files) I even managed to start a game, but as it was late at night, I had to come back a couple of days later. Now it states that it needs administrator privileges to run. 1: Launch "Celeste Launcher.exe" by using the shorcut on your desktop created during previous step (Install Celeste Fan Project Patch) . 2: Click on register if don't have already an account, if not go to step 4. 3: Register your account (you need to use an valid email). 4: Login using your credetentials. 5: Set the game language in celeste Download vc_redist, move it to the system32 folder in the C drive then use the commands ‘cabextract vc_redist.exe’ and then ‘cabextract a10’. So I updated to Windows 11. Installed the latest nVidia drivers for Windows 11. AOE starts out at around 113 FPS and as the game progresses drops down to 7 FPS. I had ZERO problems with AOE in Windows 10, but was forced to upgrade to Windows 11. it work very nicely on linux (i am playing on MP only) , i have the same performance than on my windows host. I have tried reseting and repairing the Microsoft Store via Settings -> Apps -> Installed Apps -> Microsoft Store Advanced -> Reset/Repair. I have also run the following commands: steamapps -> common -> Age Of Empires 3 -> bin -> age3.exe, age3x.exe and age3y.exe age3.exe, age3x.exe and age3y.exe, each file you need to right click with the mousebutton -> Properties -> Compatible -> Set mode to Windows Vista (Service Pack 2), Windows 7 or indows 8 -> Turn on Administrator licence.
